Growing up in Dothan, AL, I always knew I wanted to take care of kids. I started babysitting when I was 12 and served as a candy striper at the local hospital during high school. I excelled in my science courses at Wake Forest, and the decision to become a pediatrician was a natural one. I completed my pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt and worked in the pediatric ER at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis for 10 years. With the growing demands of my own two children, Abigail and Andrew, I opted for a more flexible schedule and began caring for other busy families like ours. Since opening my on-call practice in 2021 I realized how important it is for families to have a trusted medical professional available at all times. Our family is restoring a 1803 farm in Charlottesville, and we love to travel the world and explore new places.
